Visitors have been returning to Froyle ('The Village of Saints') for many years to enjoy the wonderful variety of gardens on offer, the warm welcome and the home-made teas in the village hall.
The gardens harmonise gently with their surroundings, many with lovely views of beautiful countryside.
Six gardens opened their gates this year, not only providing plant interest, colour and scent, but animals frequently associated with a true cottage garden, as well as vegetables, orchards, green-houses and wild flower meadows. There was also a large display of richly decorated 18th Century church vestments in St Mary's Church in Upper Froyle.
