Froyle School was opened on Monday November 2^nd 1868, and, as you can see from this map, surveyed in 1870, it was situated in Upper Froyle next to the vicarage and just down the road from the Church of St. Mary’s.
The school was slightly smaller when it was originally built - the infants classroom being extended early in the 20^th century.
