I was looking at the New Churchyard records. No.75 mentions my grandfather, Eric Wilfred Lewis. Does anyone know the link between the Brownjohns in that record and those mentioned in No.95 please?

My family REED was originally from Froyle. Information traces James Reed to the 1841 census on the website. We know he died that year, birth 1764. We are not sure about his place of birth. It is listed that he and his wife Lucy (Coombes) were living at the "St Thomas Miller Lodge". I would like to learn more about my family. Thank you.

My grandmother was an Ellis and related to the Ellis family of Lower Froyle who were the shoemakers in the village. This site is fantastic and so helpful in finding more about my relatives. Sad to see that the pub they lived in was demolished but I assume that the Malthouse (House) is on the site.

I've recently found out that no's 1 and 2 St. Josephs Cotts. are up for sale as one cott, I spent my childhood living at no.2 so have very happy memories and only hope the new owners don't change it too much.
