| Our 1891 Census
shows Charles Terry, aged 27, a Grocer & Baker living there with
his wife Agnes and 12 year old son Gerald. Lewis King , aged
19, is shown as a servant living with the Terrys - he was also
a Baker and probably assisted in the shop. The picture above, taken in 1935, shows Mrs. Holland standing outside the shop entrance. It was then a sweetshop and tobacconists. |
