| This article reports the funeral of Sir Hubert Miller on October 8th 1940. The report fills in a fair bit of Sir Hubert’s life history. As the clipping is somewhat big, I have also provided an Adobe Acrobat version of it to download. It has been re-arranged to fit, as the original was two nearly full columns on a broadsheet page. The handwritten Sept 1940 is incorrect, as the Church Records show Sir Hubert’s burial to have been on October 8th which was a Tuesday. |
