The First Edition of The Froyle Cook Book was published in October 1977 to commemorate the Queen's Silver Jubilee, and featured recipes contributed by residents of Froyle. To many of us it has become an old friend in the kitchen, always on hand to provide ideas for snacks, cakes and meals. We shall be adding other recipes later on - we have already received some Kiwi recipes from Brenda MacCulloch in New Zealand, who, incidentally, pointed out an error in our Lemon Sauce Puffs recipe (page 8). Many apologies to those brave souls who tried to follow the instructions! The correct method has now been added! At the moment we are only publishing a few of the recipes from the Cookbook - if you would like your own copy, e-mail us for details. |
