The First Edition of The Froyle Cook Book was published in October 1977 to commemorate the Queen's Silver Jubilee, and featured recipes contributed by residents of Froyle. To many of us it has become an old friend in the kitchen, always on hand to provide ideas for snacks, cakes and meals.
At the end of 1995, Brenda Milam suggested that it was time for an update, and, this time to commemorate the 'Celebration of a Hampshire Village' on May 31st & June 1st, 1996. All proceeds from the sale of the Cook Book go to St.Mary’s Church.
This edition of the Froyle Cook Book is a little like a Semprini Serenade (for those of you old enough to remember!) - something old, something new. . . . . All the recipes, as before, are from residents and friends of Froyle, and several new items are included.

We shall be adding other recipes later on - we have already received some Kiwi recipes from Brenda MacCulloch in New Zealand, who, incidentally, pointed out an error in our Lemon Sauce Puffs recipe (page 8). Many apologies to those brave souls who tried to follow the instructions! The correct method has now been added!

At the moment we are only publishing a few of the recipes from the Cookbook - if you would like your own copy, e-mail us for details.
