Thanks to Val & Dave Peters, now resident in Australia, we can put some names to this photograph of the Froyle Cricket Team from the 1950s. Kenny Tabb (back centre), Jim Peters (back row, 5th from left), Walter Start (back row, 6th from left), Tony King (front row, 2nd from left). Val believes that front row, 5th from the left is her uncle, George (Frank) Stenning, and possibly Bill Barnes (front row 6th from left). Further consultation from three villagers give the following line-up:-
