Lest We Forget
Lest We Forget
“Lest We Forget - Froyle in the Great War”, our book commemorating the start of World War One, was launched on November 9th, 2014, in front of a large crowd in Froyle Village Hall, and a copy has been delivered, free of charge, to every house in the village by members of the Parish Council.
As we were aware that some residents might like to purchase an extra copy, or two, for family members or friends, we have had additional copies printed. These will also be available to people living outside the village on a first come, first served basis.

This book would not have been possible without the support of Froyle Parish Council who have enabled one copy to go free of charge to every household in the village.

Froyle’s War Memorial (below) will lead you to a lot more information about the men of Froyle who gave ther lives in the service of their country and whose names are recorded here.
