The old picture shows Rose Cottages in about 1907 soon after they
were built - the modern picture was taken on January 1st 1999.
Few changes have taken place over the years:-
- Porches have been added.
- Numbers 1&2 (furthest from the camera)
have been combined.
There are also few changes to the surroundings.
- The road has been surfaced.
- Long Barlands (on the far left)
has been painted.
- Telephone poles have arrived.
- And so have motor cars!
