| Regular visitors may remember that the pond at Hussey’s Lane is the sole survivor of some eight ponds in Upper & Lower Froyle - the Tithe Map of 1847 actually shows 20 ponds of varying sizes in Froyle. You will see from the set of pictures below that it has varied quite considerably in its recorded life. We have no actual dates for these pictures, but apart from the top left (we apologise for the quality of this picture), we think they were taken fairly close together. |
