In the course of time it became apparent that a new churchyard would be needed, and a location was chosen just ‘up the road’ on the way to Yarnhams. We don’t know exactly when it was ‘opened’, although the earliest burial there was recorded in 1905, but the new Lych-gate was dedicated at a ceremony on Saturday, August 15th 1936. |
