Tom Knight describes the Westbrook family in his "Historical Notes on Froyle"

“Henry Westbrook is mentioned in the Church Registers in 1653, and Westbrook entries follow on right through the Registers and Parish books. Joseph Westbrook was an Overseer of the floor in about 1750.”

The family farmed in Froyle for many generations at
Brocas, Rock House Farm, Sylvesters and Sylrock.
